Transition Squad from Learn to Swim into Squad Training

This squad aims to further improve the skills taught in the previous level, while also introducing more advanced skills and creating a basic understanding of squad structure.

6 to 9 years (also dependent on ability)

Minimum Level in a Learn to Swim Program : 7

Primary Focus
  • 25m strength
  • Freestyle technique – hard entry and catch
  • Backstroke technique – consistent kick
  • Breaststroke technique – timing of the stroke
  • Strengthen underwater work
  • Continue to develop kick strength

  • 1L Water bottle
  • Tuart Hill Swimming Club Cap
  • Goggles
  • Kickboard
  • DMC fins
